Croatian Biological Society is a voluntary, independent, non-profit organization of biologists whose main objectives are:
- supporting scientific and professional work in the field of biology
- concern for the improvement of biology teaching at all levels of education
- adoption of the latest theoretical and practical achievements in the field of biology
- action for the preservation of nature, biodiversity and the environment

- representing the interests of biologists
