14. Croatian Biological Congress

Esteemed colleagues, dear biologists!

On behalf of the Organising and Program Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 14th Croatian Biological Congress which will be held from the 12th to the 16th of October 2022. in Pula, located in the southern part of the Istria peninsula. This year, participants will be able to present the results of their research via oral and poster presentations within eight thematic sections (Genetics, cellular and molecular biology; Evolution, systematics, phylogeny and biogeography; Microbiology; Marine biology; Biology of terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems; Toxicology and ecotoxicology; Conservational biology, nature and environment protection; Comparative physiology, immunobiology and human biology; Biomedicine). It is also with great pleasure that we can announce three satellite symposia that will be held as part of this year`s Congress: 4th Biology education symposium, 8th Symposium of the Croatian Society for Plant Biology and Symposium „Environmental DNA”. Plenary lectures concerning the latest findings within biological sciences will be delivered by several guest speakers. We also hope that you will actively participate in our round table discussions whose topics will cover important issues for all biologists and also in useful workshops we prepared for your benefit; both of which we hope will attract your interest and so help contribute to the creative atmosphere of the Congress.
